How to request deletion of your data from CountX
Your Right to Data Deletion
You have the right to request the deletion of all personal data we hold about you. This includes your account information, connected social media data, analytics, and any uploaded content.
How to Delete Your Data
Option 1: Self-Service (Recommended)
- Log in to your CountX account at countx.io.
- Go to Settings.
- Click "Disconnect" next to any connected social media account to remove that account's data.
- To delete your entire CountX account and all associated data, click "Delete Account".
Option 2: Email Request
Send an email to privacy@countx.io with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:
- Your account email address.
- The social media accounts you connected (if applicable).
- Whether you want a full account deletion or deletion of specific data.
Option 3: Via Facebook/Instagram
If you authorized CountX through Facebook Login, you can also remove our access directly from your Facebook settings:
- Go to Facebook Settings → Security and Login → Apps and Websites.
- Find "CountX" and click "Remove".
- This will revoke our access and trigger automatic data deletion on our end.
What Gets Deleted
- Your account profile and login credentials.
- All connected social media account data (profiles, posts, insights).
- Analytics data and performance metrics.
- Uploaded media files (images, videos).
- OAuth tokens and access credentials.
Processing Time
We will process your deletion request within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
Some data may be retained for up to 90 days in encrypted backups before being fully purged. We may also retain minimal data required by law (e.g., billing records for tax purposes).
